Short History: Wouldn't it be funny if she were found to be part of the enemy? Well, she once was but only at the age of 10, for 5 minutes. The Templars had managed to get a hold of her and force them to do their bidding but she was able to Assassinate them before they were able to order her to kill an innocent. That is when she found her calling and was found again by the Assassins.

Ancestor's Short History: It was a story day at sea and Maria was transporting five Assassins from Jerusalem to Constantinople. Something in their plans went awry however, and she eventually found herself in Rome, fighting for her life. When she was almost downed by a sword and an Assassin saved her, she pledged herself to their cause and they accepted her offer. To this day, she fights for the Assassins.
